Herbidoor is a leading provider of vegan ready meals and plant based meats based on the Gold Coast Australia. We are looking for a dynamic and results driven Business Development Representative to join our team.

The role is
- A full time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday
- Starting wage $50k + super + food + bonuses

About the role

As a Business Development Rep at Herbidoor you will be responsible for generating new business alongside the founders, and maintaining existing relationships with NDIS Plan Managers, Aged Care Plan Managers, Facilities, Distributors, Retailers and Restaurants.

This will be a challenging role, and very dynamic. It will require excellent communication and time management skills, as well as a strong sales background or eagerness to learn.

We are looking for someone with a passion for food, especially vegan or plant based food (but not necessary). A person who is eager to learn and to grow.

The role’s responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients.
- Identifying the needs and objectives of prospective clients and providing solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Provide excellent customer service and have a focus on building brand loyalty.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and identify new business opportunities.
- Putting together a database of contacts, with our assistant and following up with contacts regarding their needs.
- Must be comfortable with telephone and in person sales.
- Reading, studying and listening to podcasts. Committing to growth and education is a must.
- Must be willing to learn our products inside out.

**Salary**: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
