**About the role**

We have a permanent opportunity joining our Operational Program Delivery Section, you’ll manage and lead a team providing strategic direction to ensure the program is safely delivered on time, to budget, and within technical, environmental and quality standards. across the state. Based in our Canning Vale office, this role will be reporting to our Manager Operations Program Delivery.

**What the role will involve**
- Ensure all works are conducted in a safe manner in alignment with relevant legislation, and promoting Traditional Owner values
- Budget management, approvals and reporting
- Development and maintenance of Bushfire Mitigation program and policies
- Implement strategy for Vegetation Fuel Assessment
- Ensure Clearing Methodology adheres to Water Corporation clearing principles and legislated requirements
- Design, approval, training and compliance of all Hazard Reduction Burning

**Key skills and experience**

You’ll have a degree level qualification in Project or Business Management or a Trade qualification, along with substantial experience in Bushfire Mitigation and Hazard Reduction Burning and as a Bushfire Attack Level Assessor.

Your demonstrated leadership skills with values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive and high performance culture with the ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence both senior internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role. You’ll bring extensive experience in and demonstrated capability of managing, leading, developing and deploying people to remote areas in autonomous teams.
