Perth, Australia Ventia Pty Limited Full time

Part of our long-term ongoing LNG maintenance contract, Ventia is seeking experienced **Trade Assistants** preferably with experience in fire watch. These casual positions will see you engaged on a Shutdown / Turnaround on Barrow Island with preventative, corrective and project brownfields maintenance forming part of our scope for the event.

**What you can expect**:

- Casual flat rate $62.97 per hour
- April 22nd commencement, main execution 3-4 weeks with the potential for post-works as required
- Flights:

- Initial flight from Perth Airport Only
- Return flight at the end of the Shutdown
- 12 hour shifts - days or nights
- Collaborative and inclusive on-site culture
- Opportunity for continued shutdown work

**What you will need**:

- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (Completed within the last 3 years - Essential)
- High Risk Work Licence with LF, WP and Rigging Ticket (Current - Highly Regarded)
- Working at Heights (Completed within the last 3 years - Highly Regarded)
- First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical including D&A

**What you will bring**:

- Experience in a maintenance shutdown environment
- Experience as a Fire/ Hole watch within a high-risk work environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow process & procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent attitude towards health, safety & environment
- Knowledge of hydrocarbon production systems and associated hazards (Desirable but not essential)
- To be considered for this role you must be based in WA.
