About the role

We are looking for experienced Boilermakers to join our team on a casual basis for our upcoming shutdowns in the Pilbara and Goldfields WA area. As a Shutdown Trades - Boilermaker, you will be responsible for performing a range of boilermaking tasks to support the safe and efficient operation of our client's mining facilities. This is a casual role, allowing you the flexibility to work when required during our scheduled shutdown periods.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform a variety of boilermaking tasks to support planned maintenance and shutdown activities
  • Safely operate oxy-acetylene and other welding equipment to fabricate, repair and modify metal components
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to carry out work to a high standard
  • Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to ensure a safe and productive work environment
  • Adhere to all site safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

What we're looking for

  • AU Trade Cert 3 - Fabrication
  • 3+ years' experience in an industrial or mining environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to site locations as required
  • Confined Space, Working at Heights within 2 years
  • First Attack Fire and Gas Test Atmospheres
  • White Card
  • HRWL - Desired
