Roster: 8D 6R FIFO ex Perth
As the Shutdown Coordinator, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to manage high volumes of maintenance tasks - from planning through to execution - ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of each shutdown campaign. The Shutdown team must work closely with other departments and the broader business to ensure plant reliability, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate a strong safety commitment in line with the Fortescue valuesPlan shutdowns in line with the 16W planning rhythm, working closely with asset owners, planning department and shutdown schedulersDevelop resource requirements and engage vendor partners for all shutdownsManage asset reliability with maintenance tasks by engaging with the asset owners and planning against budgetary requirementsManagement of vendor resources ensuring safety of personnel, quality of work completed and managing completion against planned and scheduled maintenanceExecute modular and major shutdowns demonstrating ownership and accountability Delivery of continuous improvement initiatives in between shutdowns Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in shutdowns and mechanical maintenance within a fixed plant processing facility leading trade personnel is essential
- Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale processing plant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cohesively in a highly dynamic team environment
- Demonstrate excellent time management, and the ability to meet deadlines and milestones
- Trade Qualification is required
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and computerised maintenance management systems, SAP experience is desirable
