Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an experienced
**Procurement Officer** to undertake large and complex projects.

**Duties of this position**:
- Completion of procurement and contracting actions within agreed timeframes.
- Provide advice and support to various procurement and contract management activities.
- Manage and lead a team, including delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people.
- Review complex to very complex procurement and contracting correspondence.
- Stakeholder collaboration in resolving and identifying complex procurement and contracting issues.
- Analyse, identify and develop mitigation strategies for the risks associated with procurement and contracting activities.
**Ideally, you will have**:
- Qualifications in Certificate IV Procurement and/or equivalent experience in Commonwealth procurement
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management in the Federal Government.
- Demonstrated and significant experience following relevant guidelines.
- Highly developed interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
