A high profile Federal Government Department is looking to engage an experienced Procurement Support Officer to undertake simple and complex ICT procurement activities to support the deliverables and projects within the department in a manner that is compliant with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs). The successful Procurement Support Officer will be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12-month extension and a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Procurement Support Officer will be responsible for the below:

- Prepare and draft relevant procurement documentation to support both simple and complex ICT Hardware/Software procurements
- Collate, organise and present current and predicted procurement activity data from across the department to support organisational decisions
- Liaise confidently with internal stakeholders regarding procurement activities
- Create and maintain the software asset management register

The successful Procurement Support Officer will have experience in the following:

- Minimum of Procurement & Contract Management Diploma or related degree required
- Demonstrated experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role
- Experience delivering procurement support to executive level staff in a Government Department
- Software and hardware asset management
- Experience with IT Service Management Frameworks, such as ITIL
