AACo owns and operates a strategic balance of properties, feedlots and farms comprising around 6.4 million hectares of land in Queensland and the Northern Territory. As AACo continue to supply the globe with high quality wagyu while driving innovation in everything they do, they have created an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join the team in an international role. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be a core member of the team responsible for managing AACo’s commercial and brand performance across a portfolio of international markets within the Asia’s.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, as the Regional Sales Manager, you will be accountable for leading in market partnerships to achieve commercial deliverables and grow AACo’s branded presence across focus channels. The role will also support strong internal cross functional collaboration to optimise company performance and further strengthen a high-performance culture.
**Key responsibilities include**
- Develop plans to optimise the commercial performance of the carcass and how AACo collaborate with their processing team to manage customer requirements through a complex supply chain.
- Work with the wider commercial team to understand the role assigned markets play in the Commercial Plan.
- Participate in Commercial budget-building sessions and provide detailed insight for assigned markets regarding price and volume.
- Develop, refine and manage comprehensive market plans for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan markets.
- Drive the delivery of market plans including financial, customer experience and the performance of AACo partners.
- Develop and communicate a comprehensive understanding of the assigned markets, identify emerging trends and support product innovation
- Engage Westholme distribution partners across assigned markets including Joint Business Planning and regular account reviews.
- Proactively engage to develop and strengthen relationships with target chefs, retailers and distributors in-market and drive partnership outcomes.
- Identify and establish new business opportunities and customer leads.
**About you**
- You’ll be a natural collaborator and communicator who thrives on the opportunity to seek out and deliver new business opportunities and further improve existing partnerships.
- Proven sales background with experience in new business development and strategic selling.
- Experience within the Beef industry, Foodservice or Retail Food industry highly regarded.
- Beef industry sales experience and technical knowledge of complex supply chains desired but not essential.
- Experience working with brands and developing marketing activations.
- Expert knowledge of the relevant theories and practices in partnership management.
- Strong communication skills, including excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
