**About the opportunity**

This is an incredibly exciting multi faceted role for a passionate Junior Buyer looking to really elevate their career. Working closely with the design team you will look after store buying, allocations, stock control and pricing for 25 beautiful boutiques.

**Key responsibilities (but not limited to)**:

- Supports Design team with product selection, development, and sourcing of fabrications, colours, trims etc
- Understands the manufacturing structure of the supplier’s business in order to recognise cost opportunities
- Assist the design team with product ranging
- Assists designers to identify products & trends relevant to customer segment
- Reviews best and worst product reports and provides key findings
- Source, develop, and select assortment to build a range that is commercially strong, regionally specific, and relevant to the customer
- Assist with the management of SKU lifecycle/ re-coding
- Store stock control and allocations, ensuring customer needs and trends are met

**Skills and experience**:

- Previous experience in an Assistant / Junior buyer role
- Good judgement and decision-making skills
- Confidence in calculated risks
- Passionate about product, strong market and brand awareness
- Time keeping & ability to meet stringent deadlines
- Results oriented and customer focused
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Driven and self motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
