**Responsibilities**:
**Karndean Designflooring **is a global interiors company that is changing perceptions the world over around luxury vinyl flooring. Our flooring range delivers the beauty of natural products with durability to suit every domestic and commercial lifestyle.

We are seeking two experienced Sales Professional to join our talented and energetic Sales Team in the Karndean Australia and New Zealand operation.

There are two territories, of around 90 established accounts:

- ** Brisbane North **covering Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Rockhampton, and Roma
- ** Brisbane South** covering the Gold Coast to Goondiwindi and Coffs Harbour

This role is ideal for experienced account / territory managers based in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast. You’ll work from a home office, spending most of your time on the road and up to 50% of your time away/regional. A fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, phone and attractive remuneration package with sales bonus are provided.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Key responsibilities include -**
- Ensuring relevant sales budgets are achieved and where possible exceeded.
- Implementing and executing the business strategy in the region.
- Creating and managing a territory specific annual business plan.
- Maintaining industry market knowledge.
- Identifying new sales leads, projects and markets through research.
- Conducting regular business reviews including presentation of reports.
- Contributing to the quarterly and annual sales planning for the region.
- Maintaining professional relationships with in the industry within the assigned region.
- Connecting with potential clients to identify business opportunities.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Identifying knowledge gaps in customers and delivering training as required.
- Planning and managing a customer call cycle.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Preparing presentations and sales displays.
- Developing professional and reliable quotes and proposals.
- Ensuring all customers have up to date samples, point of sale and marketing collateral.
- Ensuring all relevant information is entered in the CRM.

**ABOUT YOU**

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales.
- Experience in the building and construction industry including working with trades (desirable).
- Experience working within the retail, commercial or flooring sector (desirable).
- Excellent written, aural and oral communication skills.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Collaborative approach to build partnerships and work constructively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking, seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into practical plans.
- Intermediate computer skills using various packages including the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM
- Ability to work autonomously whilst performing within a team environment.
- Capacity to travel throughout the assigned territory (up to 50% of your time staying away from home).
- A valid drivers' licence.
