Hays is currently partnered a health and safety organisation to recruit an Administration Officer in a temporary capacity. This organisation strives to prevent workplace injuries, illness and fatalities whilst raising the standard of health and safety in all workplaces.

**Your new role**

This role will sit within the Prevention, Strategy & Planning division, Health and Safety and provides business, administrative and operational support and service.

The Administration Officer uses a variety of policies and procedures, and liaises with internal and external stakeholders to delivery high quality service and support to the operations of the Health and Safety Business Unit.

This role has a particular portfolio focus as it is the primary administration support for the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Essentials Program.

Responsibilities will include:

- Support the PSP Division in developing and delivering effective business operations management and administration support
- Process financial and procurements tasks according to company guidelines, procedures and timeframes.
- Assist in preparing and analysing reports (e.g. Salesforce CRM, Quality Assurance etc.), statistical tables and information recording to meet reporting requirements.
- Participate in meetings, forums and workshops, including preparing agendas, minutes and follow up action items as required
- Work as part of a team to provide workable and innovative solutions to systems and service delivery issues, and update divisional guidance material and procedure manuals
- Provide accurate and informed information/advice to internal and external clients on a range of related matters.
- Liaise with internal and external networks to coordinate OHS Essentials Program’s promotional activities and events, such as Health & Safety Month, Small Business Festival, local shows and local field days.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- 3-5 years’ experience in administration, business support, Occupational Health and Safety, Government, or a relevant field
- Extensive experience in delivering high quality customer and client service
- Ability to liaise on a professional level with a diverse client/stakeholder group
- Ability to work as part of a team and to work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient time management, prioritisation, and organisation skills
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, records management, financial management, Salesforce CRM, and reporting software

This role offers you at attractive hourly rate of $39.87 plus super, full time hours and an initial 3-month placement with the possibility of an extension. This company offers a Hybrid working environment - 3 days in office and 2 from home.
