A temporary GIS Project job in Melbourne paying circa $60 p/h.
**Your new company**
A state government department responsible for managing and providing policy guidance for state forests, parks and conservation reserves.

**Your new role**
You’ll support spatial data projects in the biodiversity branch for an initial period of two months. You’ll be responsible for:

- Spatial data analysis and map production
- Engaging with stakeholders to design and manage spatial data
- Providing user support in relation to biodiversity investment spatial data
- Supporting a number of different programs across the branch
- Communicating, consulting and building strong and effective relationships to progress projects

**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as GIS knowledge, you’ll have:

- A tertiary qualification in GIS, data science, cartography or a related field
- Experience in analysing and manipulating spatial data
- Experience with ArcGIS and be skilled in working with a broad range of asset data
