The position involves working on the Kerb & Channel segmentation project. The role also encompasses mapping layback kerbs for on-street parking, distinguishing between standard single road and dual carriageway kerbs, and addressing recent threshold/raised segment separations. The GIS Officer will contribute to the ongoing accuracy review of road polylines and polygons in collaboration with RMIT students.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Previous GIS / Spatial Analyst experience within the public sector.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- An ability to be part of a working team.
- An ability to respond to changing priorities and able to complete tasks within tight timeframes.
