Currently our Operational Supply Chain team is seeking a Planning Manager to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Supply Planners, mentoring them in best practice planning and scheduling techniques
- Assist the Supply Chain Director in the formulation, development and implementation of planning strategies with the objective of meeting business requirements for assurance of supply, quality, service, cost and innovation
- Oversee the preparation of manufacturing plans as produced and distributed through SAP and Rapid Response.
- Maintain rolling three-month production, packaging and laboratory plans within SAP and Rapid Response.
- Oversee the preparation of timely production and packaging plans and monitor their progress to ensure they will consistently minimise domestic back-orders and maximise export customer delivery date adherence.
- Oversee the regular review of Rapid Response to ensure on-time manufacture of product.
- Monitor and track back-order resupply.
- Review, manage and update product master data in SAP and Rapid Response for plant materials to ensure accuracy.
To be considered for the Planning Manager role you must:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Planning, Supply Chain and/or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or similar is desirable
- Ability to understand technical documents and communicate description of problems and solutions
- Hold current APICS Certification (CPIM or CSCP) is highly desirable
- Valid Australian working rights
