Job Description Summary

The role works directly with group and business unit stakeholders, the primary consumers of the data and analytics. The role is critical to driving performance management, process improvement and innovation through fact-based decision-making. This position is ideal for someone passionate about using their strong business acumen and deep technical expertise in data analytics to provide insights to propel the business forward.
About the Role

Service Stream has developed a data & analytics strategy to uplift the enterprise data and analytics capability, and the role will provide delivery leadership to these strategic initiatives. The position will report to the Group Data & Insights Manager and be part of the Service Stream's Group Data & Insights function. The role works directly with group and business unit stakeholders, the primary consumers of the data and analytics. The role is critical to driving performance management, process improvement and innovation through fact-based decision-making. This position is ideal for someone passionate about using their strong business acumen and deep technical expertise in data analytics to provide insights to propel the business forward.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide delivery leadership for the business stakeholders to engage, escalate and manage analytics initiatives.
- Work and build relationships with a range of cross-functional stakeholders in Finance, Business Development, Commercial and Operations to solve business problems using data and analytics techniques.
- Translate the data and analysis into actionable insights for business stakeholders and senior management.
- Build, develop and maintain dashboards, including data models and performance metrics that provide valuable insights and supports key business decisions.
- Develop business knowledge to deliver business unit and group-wide insights on performance.
- Lead the agile delivery process withing the function
- Support training and upskilling staff members within the broader organisation

Experience required
- Experienced in working in an analytics environment.
- Experience in delivering analytics projects/initiatives across a complex organisation.
- Experience in data visualisation tools such as MS PowerBI
- Experience in working in an agile environment.
- Experienced in working with data platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Qualifications required
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, IT, mathematics, or engineering

Competencies required
- Exceptional communication, organisational skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be a strong relationship builder with experience in working across multiple business team teams.
- Ability to work across a complex analytics project in a complex environment.
- Passionate about building analytics solutions.
- Must be a strong advocate for how data and insights can improve business decisions.
- Resilient and supportive to manage change in behaviors, tools, and processes.
