**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Orbis Legal is a boutique law firm in the Sydney CBD that undertakes work mainly within property, family and criminal law. We are looking for talented and enthusiastic law students or pre-admission graduates to undertake voluntary work experience through a Practical Legal Training Placement. This is an opportunity for you to gain practical experience and invaluable insight into the legal industry and various aspects of legal practice. There is an opportunity for this position to grow into a full-time graduate solicitor position.

Your role will include:

- Attending Court hearings and assisting solicitors with their work;
- Drafting and filing court documents;
- Legal research; and
- Other general administration tasks

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Preferably previous work experience in an office environment;
- Be committed to working at least 2-3 days per week; and
- Have a positive attitude and a growth mindset within the office.
