- We have an exciting opportunity for a full time
- **Veteran Home Care Administration Officer **to join our team in Blackburn for a 12 month contract with a view to extend. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality administrative support to the VHC Assessment team who support eligible members of the Veteran community and their families. In this rewarding position you will be part of a small energetic team which provides information and support to people inquiring about care options.

**Your day to day activities include**:

- Deliver a great customer experience, demonstrate a caring manner and promote the Benetas person-centred care approach to all clients
- Respond to enquiries proving information to ensure optimal outcomes for veterans and their families
- Demonstrate an understanding of the VHC program guidelines, scope and limitations
- Facilitate and build effective relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders through appropriate processes and highly developed interpersonal skills
- Work with the VHC Team to review and improve the service provided by the VHC team

**To thrive in the role you will have**:

- Minimum of two years’ experience in the aged or community care sector;
- A customer focused approach with good work ethic, empathy and integrity;
- A solution-focused approach;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence;
- Exceptional phone skills
- The ability to speak a language other than English (desirable)
- Intermediate level of computer skills and telephony literacy
- The ability to treat others with dignity and respect
