Position Overview:

We are welcoming a Part-time medical administration to work in a vibrant and

professional environment in Blackburn.

We are looking for a team member with:

- Medical reception experience

-Loyal personality

-Booking /rescheduling patients

-Experience with faxing and emailing, scanning and generally Tech savvy

• Fast learner and great attention to details

• Experience with Gentu management software

• Experience with medical billing patients

• Experience with using HICAPS /EFTPOS machine

• Courteous and passionate about caring for patients

• Proactive

• Cope well under pressure  and multi task

-Meeting and greeting patients

-Able to proof read Medical letters if required to

We are offering 2-3 days a week, with extra hours occasionally to cover sick and annual leave.A full time position is potentially available for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a specialist medical practice setting. GP-based practice managers are also considered for interviews.

2. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.

3. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of practice management.

4. Proven experience coordinating and scheduling patient sessions and optimising specialist physicians' time.

5. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff.

6. Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of practice management software and Microsoft Office suite (Preferable Gentu).

7.Training will be provided but there is an expectation that you will hit the ground running. this is a very busy practice and multitasking is a must.

8.You will be dealing with  different doctors on a daily basis and a variety of patients with interesting personalities.

1. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.

2. A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding professional ethics.

Salary: From $27.00 to $33.00 per hour depending on your experience in the role
