**The Role**
Are you seeking an opportunity to shape the future of DIG's estate and property portfolio?

Two positions are available in a small team responsible for delivering services within the DIG Accommodation Management function and Estate Strategic Planning function.

As the _DIG Estate Accommodation Manager_ you will:

- Manage DIG accommodation in accordance with Defence policy using corporate accommodation management systems;
- Manage the DIG accommodation audit routine;
- Develop and deliver accommodation status reporting for executive consumption;
- Provide advice and recommendations on the effective use of the DIG accommodation in accordance with capability requirements and Defence strategic estate planning initiatives.

As the
- DIG Estate Strategic Planner _you will:

- Coordinate development of strategies to address capability requirements impacting the DIG estate;
- Analyse capital investment proposals in infrastructure across the DIG estate;
- Provide advice and recommendations on the effective use of the DIG estate in accordance with capability requirements and Defence strategic estate planning initiatives.

**About our Team**
The Defence Intelligence Group (DIG) has an extensive and growing property portfolio located throughout the Australian mainland, its territories and overseas. In conjunction with Defence estate and infrastructure delivery arms, DIG’s Estate Planning and Property function is responsible for the delivery of estate management and property services, and provision of strategic estate planning advice and accommodation management that collectively ensure the DIG estate is safe, fit-for-purpose, secure and supports the DIG’s activities and outcomes.

The DIG Estate Planning and Property team is dispersed across Canberra, Bendigo, Wollongong and South Australia sites. Its property management functions are delivered from core buildings in these locations, while its planning and accommodation team work closely with Defence partner agencies, predominantly at Brindabella Park. As a new directorate, the DIG Estate Planning and Property team is growing its workforce to position it to meet current and future surge across the accommodation management and estate strategic planning functions.

DIG is seeking experienced and motivated people to join the Estate Planning and Property directorate to further develop the fledgling accommodation management and estate strategic planning functions. To be successful in these roles you will:

- Have demonstrated ability to develop productive internal working arrangements;
- Have strong written and oral communication including demonstrated interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude to relationship building with relevant stakeholders;
- Be able to work in a fluid environment by remaining flexible, agile and adaptable;
- Be experienced and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Possess well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Have the ability to operate with a strategic focus.
