**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Building Services Coordinator to join our team in our manufacturing site in Virginia. In this role you will be responsible for building services, the facilities budget, regulatory compliance and contractor management compliance.

**The Accountabilities**
- Inspecting and performing maintenance on the plant equipment (e.g. HVAC chillers, dryers, air compressors, trade waste system) on a routine basis to ensure performance is as expected and investigate remedial action when required
- Performing routine maintenance tasks as required such as cleaning filters, unmanned boiler operation, simple plumbing jobs and housekeeping in plantrooms and around the site
- Operation of the trade waste system, ensuring inputs and outputs are as required, water sample testing, cleaning and routine maintenance where required
- Supporting and assisting our building service contractors, such as acting as a safety spotter when required, low voltage, electrical spotting and working at heights spotting
- Working on continuous improvement activities for facilities function, such as vendor change, process improvement, equipment improvement as identified and approved
- Conducting reliability reviews and improvement of refrigeration, compressed air, trade waste and all facilities equipment

**The Ingredients for Success**

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;
- 2 - 3 years’ experience within a similar role
- Previous experience working within a large-scale factory environment, with ideally an exposure to equipment such as Trade Waste Systems, HVAC, refrigeration chiller units, fire systems, air compressors and/or boilers
- A positive can-do attitude
- Experience using SAP is desirable
- A forklift licence, scissor lift license, boiler ticket, LVR cert is highly desirable
- Previous contractor management skills and supervision
- Ability to perform the clerical duties associated with raising work orders, purchase orders and permits, raise work orders for repairs required (SAP)
