Exciting opportunity for passionate Communications Manager to play a key role in leading, strategising, building and executing all internal communications across our global business.

Reporting into the Chief Brand Officer, the Communications manager will own and be responsible for driving improve connection and information across our 9 offices

**Individual Accountabilities**:

- Define and execute the internal communications strategy that keeps our Crew informed, updated, aligned, engaged and aware; this includes creating the framework upon which our internal communications are built and also writing and executing the communications that sit on top of the framework
- Work in partnership with the CBO, CoS and CPO to finalise the creation of a new, holistic Internal Communication & Engagement Framework, ultimately having accountability for the strategic planning and execution of all internal comms and corresponding touchpoints across the business
- This includes defining: a global communication and engagement calendar with clear categories for internal updates and engagement activities (including clear ownership), a medium for all comms, a cadence for all comms and channel direction for all comms
- Write various types of comms, from both the company and various SLT member perspectives
- Lead content “re-energization” to improve overall content (including messaging and visuals) to improve quality of internal comms content, including ownership of the monthly Crewsletter
- Manage stakeholder relationships and establish clear processes for engaging with all stakeholders
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight of all comms and engagement, always demonstrating the ability to ensure the Brand Strategy and Company Strategy are considered and woven into the communications
- Collaborating with other members of the Brand, Marketing and Comms team as needed to oversee and ensure the execution of all required deliverables (i.e. Designers, etc.)
- Recommend and introduce tools, resources and processes that will contribute to the improvement of our internal communication and engagement
- Maintain relentless focus on the goal of improving connection, information sharing, visibility, alignment and engagement amongst the global Coates Crew
- Act as Project Manager for the End of Year and Financial Year presentations and video productions, creating the strategic approach and plan based on company goals, while also helping to shape the presentation and write the messaging that supports it
- Creation of a Coates language and copy library that can be used for both internal and external purposes to create consistency and accuracy of our written comms in portraying the Coates brand
- Act as Project Manager for the completion of the Coates History Book
- Assist in other Marketing initiatives that require strong written communication skills, including the potential to manage or support internal brand and/or external comms
- Assist in defining leadership profiles for SLT members and other thought leaders within the business
- Collaboration on some special projects may be required
