Architectural Draughtsperson - REVIT Operator - 3-month Fixed Term (Full time) Contract - Sydney CBD

Play a vital role in shaping Uniting’s property developments.

Our Property Development team oversees new Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living projects, guided by the Uniting Design Guidelines. We are seeking a skilled Revit Documenter to support our Design Quality Managers in delivering high-quality design documentation.
**About the Role**:
This is a critical role, directly involved in developing, producing, and refining the Uniting Design Guidelines - a key document that informs and guides our external design partners. You will work closely with the Design Quality Managers, creating and maintaining detailed Revit documentation that ensures design consistency and compliance.
**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Visual Template Management: Develop a consistent visual template for all room data sheets within the Design Guidelines.
- Revit Documentation: Create high-quality Revit documentation for Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living spaces, including plans, elevations, sections, 3D axonometric views, and schedules.
- Feedback Integration: Review and capture stakeholder feedback, ensuring accurate design representation.
- Revit Library Management: Enhance the Revit library and develop custom Revit families for project-specific needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Design Quality Managers and other stakeholders to maintain design intent.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure documentation meets the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and the Apartment Design Guide (ADG).
- Quality Control: Review, audit, and finalise your own work, maintaining a high standard.

**About You**:

- Qualification in Drafting (minimum Certificate IV), Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Revit Architecture.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, and ADG.
- Strong documentation skills and experience maintaining design standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in Class 2 building documentation.
- Experience with Aged Care or Seniors Living developments.
- Familiarity with Design Guidelines development.
