This is a rare opportunity for a team focused Technical Manager, Test & Certification to join this global organisation and become a part of the senior leadership team. You will lead a team of 8 engineers verifying and validating new and existing electrical products, ensuring compliance with legal, statutory and quality standards.

It is pivotal that you have a natural ability to develop your team and foster a strong team culture where everyone feels empowered and valued. Your will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Achieve product certification and mitigate risk to the business by developing clear goals and objectives for the team
- Build a cohesive, balanced and productive team to ensure all compliance and testing requirements and standards are met
- Develop, coach and mentor your team and provide regular performance feedback
- Facilitate the resolution of issues/enquiries
- Review external documentation, create accurate internal documentation and maintain databases
- Provide declarations to customers to confirm product compliance
- Maintain the integrity of the internal laboratory team output
- Complete all tracking, monitoring and reporting activities as required

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Proven experience in leading technical, or engineering/laboratory/certification teams
- Exposure/understanding laboratory environments and/or understanding of product standard, regulatory and legal requirements
- People Leadership; enjoying all aspects of coaching, development and performance management
- Effective communication, influence and collaboration skills and an appreciation for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline
