Join a Defence organisation located in the northern suburbs as a fixed term contract as a Technical Writer.

**Your new company**
Working with a team of technically minded and driven professionals, this highly reputable company has an opportunity for Technical Writer. This private Australian owned Defence organisation is working on exciting projects of highly complex systems.

**Your new role**
Working in this role will have your coordinating and organising technical information in order to produce high quality technical documents. Your documentation skills will be required to ensure content is produced in a clear, accurate and easy to understand manner. It will be important that you are able to communicate with various stakeholders to provide advice on solutions for issues that arise within documentation processes and interfaces between ILS documentation and other areas.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Expert knowledge in MS Word, including template concepts, formatting and change management.
- Previous experience working with Adobe FrameMaker, CAD Software and knowledge of document development according to S100D.
- The ability to liaise across the business to ensure document process are being analysed and communicated clearly.
- Ideally you will have experience understanding technical engineering information such as drawings and manuals.
- Qualifications or experience in engineering or technical disciplines will be highly regarded.

As this role is based within the Defence industry, it is mandatory that you are a current Australian Citizen and/or a hold Australian Defence security clearance.
