**Overview**:
As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for assisting project managers in handling various corporate actions, such as floats, takeovers, buy-backs, and rights issues. Your role will involve project planning, documentation, negotiation with suppliers, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and within agreed timelines.

**Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities**:

- Assist project managers in preparing project documentation and attending meetings with internal/external suppliers to ensure compliance with contract terms and service level agreements
- Under supervision, manage minor corporate actions by scoping projects, identifying processing options, and determining resource requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive project management documentation, including workflow sheets, business rules, risk management strategies, and supplier contracts, ensuring approval from senior management.
- Oversee the execution and timely delivery of capital markets projects, adhering to processes and procedures.
- Ensure all legislative, client, and organizational requirements are met promptly.
- Contribute to post-project reviews and implement improvements to project processes and documentation.
- Assist in invoice preparation and review for corporate action projects.
- Participate in the development of a cost-efficient business plan to align with Link's strategic goals.
- Provide support to the Campaigns analyst in achieving key milestones related to Contact Centre/Campaign requirements.

**Experience & Personal Attributes**:

- Knowledge of the securities industry and financial markets, including Corporations Law, ASTC Settlement Rules, and ASX Listing Rules.
- Aptitude and eagerness to develop project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, motivation, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Flexibility to work extra hours and travel, if required, to meet business needs.
- Knowledge of financial markets, law, or prior experience in the securities industry is a plus, but not essential.
