**Our Client**:
Is a Multinational Global brand specialising in manufacturing and distribution of industrial products to its users. A brand that has been in the Australian market for over 100 years supporting their clients with quality and innovative products. An outstanding product range servicing over 100 branches around the world.

**The role**:
Your role as a Purchasing officer will be supporting the timely and cost effective purchasing of all products, materials and services for the supply chain cycle.

**Duties include ;**
- Reviewing reports and raising purchase orders to replenish stock
- Liaising with local and international suppliers
- Coordination of freight forwarders, shipping and logistics
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Raising bill of materials
- Systems maintenance i.e. pricing, part numbers etc
- Ensuring invoices from suppliers are correct
- Price negotiation, sourcing products, freight quotes with local products
- Providing briefs to sales team
- Working with a product range of 5000 SKUS

**About You**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Working for a Global Brand highly favored
- FMCG / Industrial Industries preferred
- Experience working with a large product range a **MUST**:

- ERP systems experience
- Great communication skills
- Enjoys working as part of a team
