**Job Description** What will a day in this role look like?**
- Engage and consult with community, stakeholders and regulators
- Develop and implement engagement strategies and consultation plans, including the preparation of communication materials.
- Coordinate engagement events including community update sessions and explaining project details to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers designing high profile infrastructure and remediation projects for clients across government, energy, transport and water utilities.
- Manage sensitive information lines, timely response to community enquiries, and reporting outcomes.
- Advising clients, assisting project managers and mentoring junior team members
- Leading communication and engagement projects, providing advice and training to less experienced team members.

**Qualifications**

**What are we looking for from you?**
- Previous experience working in a communication or community engagement role.
- Excellent communication problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and good time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication or Public and ideally an IAP2 qualification. However, we value effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders as a higher priority.
- Open to travel for short stints from time to time
