**Job Description** What will a day in this role look like**:
- Coordinating and attend community engagement events including community update sessions and explaining project details to stakeholders
- Developing and implementing engagement strategies and consultation plans, including the preparation of communication materials.
- Managing information lines, responding to community enquiries, and reporting outcomes.
- Leading communication and engagement projects, providing advice and training to less experienced team members.
**Qualifications** What are we looking for from you?**
- Previous experience working in a communication or community engagement role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and good time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication or Public and ideally an IAP2 qualification. However, we value effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders as a higher priority.
- Professional and mature approach with a commitment to high levels of client service
- Open to travel for short stints from time to time
