Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for a dedicated
**ESG Coordinator** to join their growing business.

Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for ESG coordination. This includes procurement, administering and managing a variety of agreements and contracts in accordance with the firm’s various internal policy’s, systems and guidelines to meet ESG objectives.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Understanding of State and Federal Government policies, frameworks, legislative reporting requirements, contractual obligations and industry best practice.
- Ensure the corporate policies are in alignment and updated in accordance with changes to the relevant government policies.
- Obtain and collate existing applicable social and environmental sustainability data and analyse our existing position with regard to Social Procurement Framework Assist with an initial gap analysis and the subsequent development of a Sustainability framework and Social Procurement framework, objectives and processes for monitoring and reporting on outcomes.
- Complete and prepare Social Procurement information for current tenders with estimating team.
- Assist in the developing relationships with social enterprises and identify opportunities for procuring goods and services that maximise social, economic, and environmental benefits and overall value for money proposition without exposing the company to reputational, compliance, or operational risk.
- Assist in project compliance of specific Social Procurement objectives and deliverables.
- Review market of what competitors are undertaking to comply with Social Procurement objectives.
- Ongoing monitoring social procurement and sustainability performance.
- Content Acquisition from Current/Past Projects (project reviews/profiles at completion) to support internal and external reporting, marketing activities, tender submission development, and award submissions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills and comfortable engaging with colleagues at the delivery/operational, divisional, and senior management levels.
- Undertake or manage consultants to carry out research and analysis, value and impact assessments, and development of management plans.
- Support the placement of priority job seekers to fulfil project obligations.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Commerce, Finance or Accounting or similar
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Previous ESG experience will be highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent time management and Vendor management skills
- Strong attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
