**The opportunity to join our team**
- This role is involved in the development and implementation of Climate Change capabilities, and strategies; including materiality assessments, scenario analysis, transition plans, climate metrics and reporting. This role will assist Insignia Financial in building capability across its business to successfully deliver climate-related financial reporting and provide visibility and transparency to our members and investors.**Key Responsibilities**:
- Be a lead role in coordinating and conducting Climate risk related materiality assessments maturing from qualitative to quantitative measurements in line with reporting requirements.
- Incorporate materiality assessments into transition planning and financial reporting to inform high priority areas of climate risks and opportunities.
- Develop the foundational structure of Insignia’s Climate Transition Plan working with Strategy to link in with the annual and 3yr business reviews.
- Work with key stakeholders to build climate risk scenario assessments.
- Play a key role in building Insignia’s climate metrics and operational emissions for disclosure including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
- Play a key role in building Insignia’s climate metrics to understand and report on “financed’ emissions across multiple financial products.
- Build Climate transition planning and reporting process to meet public disclosure requirements.
- Work with key stakeholders to set operational emissions targets and implement into Insignia’s strategy.
**What you will bring**
- Experience in a similar or like-for-like role
- In depth knowledge of ESG frameworks and climate related risks.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environment including exposure to Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures.
- Experience in the development of ESG reporting
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and business units.
- Experience in the superannuation industry preferred
