Marketing & Events Specialist required for an initial 6 month temporary role starting immediately.

Hays are proud to be partnering with a local Employer of Choice, who are seeking a temporary team member on an initial 6 month assignment, starting as soon as possible. Our client require a team member who can confidently contribute to Marketing and Events activities during a peak time to support a wider project team.

**Your new role**
If you are a confident Marketing and Events professional who is able to support on a range of events, this could be a great opportunity for you. The Marketing & Events Specialist has responsibility to:

- Work with a small team to execute events of differing sizes and audiences. Including maintaining the profile and positioning of the event in the local community to ensure optimal registrations.
- Support with all marketing requirements in the lead up to the event days, including EDM’s, social and website activities as well as organising all event collateral.
- Event day support, including coordination of guests, speakers, venue stakeholders and troubleshooting any challenges.
- Contribute to post event evaluation and reporting.
- Support internal communications activities
- Efficiently develop and deliver communication and marketing plans

**What you'll need to succeed**
Your previous experience in Marketing and Events will help you succeed in this busy and fast paced environment. You will be happy to be hands on with Events support including on day set up of banners etc whilst also being able to contribute to Marketing planning.
