**Ovolo Woolloomooloo** is the brand's flagship Australian hotel, located in Sydney's idyllic harbourside suburb of... (dramatic drum roll) Woolloomooloo. Nestled in the heart of the popular wharf precinct, a short walk to the city's central business district, the hotel is surrounded by a wide selection of much-loved dining and nightlife options. Ovolo Woolloomooloo features 100 guest rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, meeting rooms and events spaces, a swimming pool, and Alibi Bar & Kitchen (100% plant-based).

**The Gig**

We provide a fun and exciting environment and all we ask is that you give us your dedication to our brand and most importantly, your team We are currently on the lookout for our next Conference & Events supervisor to join our fun and exciting team at Ovolo As a C+E supervisor, you will lead our team from the front, ensuring all guests wants and needs are met and ensure maximum customer satisfaction. You will be looking after all types of events, from corporate boardroom functions to weddings and birthday celebrations. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- This is a hands on role
- leading the team from the front
- Supervise the delivery of events and facilitate the bump in, event and bump out of phases
- Ensure event briefs are followed and troubleshoot like a boss, where and when required Welcome the guest as their primary face-to-face liaison and act as the main point of contact onsite for all stakeholders
- Be the main point of engagement with the general public and event attendees
- Management of all things events inventory (cloths, furniture, signage, equipment, electrical infrastructure etc)
- Lightning quick, master multi-tasker managing varying roles across busy service periods

We are seeking a passionate, highly creative, genuine, energetic and motivated **Conference & Events Supervisor **who will ensure the people you serve will walk away with an out of this world sensory experience We want to knock them off their feet You are creative, focused and settle for nothing less than the very highest standards of service delivery. Our team works hard, has fun and consistently goes out of our way each and every day to create amazing and memorable experiences for our guests. You will already have supervisory experience in a food and beverage role or have several years of experience in c+e operations. A valid RSA is required.
