**Digital and Social Media Coordinator**
Guide Dogs Victoria is seeking a dynamic and creative Digital and Social Media Coordinator to join our passionate Marketing Team in a full-time capacity, based at our Kew office. This role reports to the Marketing Campaigns Manager and plays a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our community, and promoting our mission through various digital platforms.
**In this role you will be responsible to**:
- Contribute to the delivery of the Guide Dogs social media and community management strategy.
- Contribute towards the national social media calendar including content ideas, cadence and days of note.
- Create and edit content for GDV’s website and social media channels, ensuring accessibility and adherence with brand guidelines, as well as suggesting ideas for enhancing engagement.
- Write and record video audio description for social media videos when needed.
- Develop and coordinate the GDV eDM schedule and execution plans, including testing to increase audience open and click-through rates.
- Coordinate community management including day to day moderation and engagement to promote channel growth.
- Contribute to crisis management on social platforms, where needed, including crisis management reporting.
- Support the monitoring and reporting of digital and social media metrics, using analytical tools and platforms to gather data and help track engagement rates, follower growth, and the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Support the Marketing Campaign Manager with the Search Engine Optimisation strategy, digital automation and paid campaigns as required.
- Assist with the coordination of external vendors and partners as needed.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as communications or marketing or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum two years’ experience in similar role.
- Excellent time management and demonstrated ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders and to work well across diverse organisational departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Previous experience across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Tik Tok.
- Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management systems i.e. Mailchimp.
- Strong understanding of social media compliance standards.
- Previous experience in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimisation, and digital automation is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of content creation tools and software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, video editing software).
- Strong editorial skills and a high level of competency in writing for the web and other digital platforms.
