Synergy has a rare opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated **Health and Wellbeing Manager** within our Sustainability Business Unit based at our Perth CBD office.

The primary purpose of this role is to lead a strategic health and wellbeing function that partners with the whole of business in providing leadership, advice and support to ensure the workplace environment nurtures the health, wellbeing and growth of all workers.

**We’re looking for an inspiring person who will**:

- Lead the development and effective implementation of an overarching wellbeing strategy for the organisation connecting that strategy to the company values, functional business plans, agreed objectives and targets, and desired growth and performance outcomes
- Facilitate a systematic approach to assessing, managing and mitigating psychosocial hazards and risks to create a safe and healthy work environment for all workers and to meet the responsibilities under applicable legislation and related Codes of Practice
- Develop and manage a fit for purpose health surveillance screening, assessment, and early intervention program for the whole of business
- Develop and implement an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that supports the worker and leader whilst ensuring workplace wellbeing standards, systems and processes are in place to promote the EAP as a valued support service
- Degree qualifications or equivalent in Health or a similar background
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a utility or heavy industry environment providing advice and support to the workplace in the areas of occupational health, hygiene and injury prevention and management including workers compensation management.
- Experience in developing and executing functional strategic and business level plans to enhance the organisations health and wellbeing performance
- A proven ability and experience in providing informed advice and support to key stakeholders in the management of pandemic response.
