**About the role**

**We are seeking an experienced and self-directed Safety and Wellbeing Specialist who can work collaboratively across our network of locals to foster proactive, risk aware environments that promote the safety and wellbeing of everyone at Chorus.**

**This role is both strategic and hands-on and offers a real opportunity to shape organisational policy and practice.**

**You will**:

- **Partner with leads across Chorus to embed safe work practices and a shape a culture that prioritises wellbeing.**
- **Contribute to the continuous improvement of our evolving health, safety and wellbeing management systems.**
- **Support the analysis, reporting and improvement of our safety and wellbeing metrics.**
- **Partner with local leads to support injured workers through recovery and return to work.**

**About you**:

- **You bring a sound body of skills and expertise in contemporary approaches to workplace health, safety and wellbeing.**
- **You confidently exercise personal leadership and accountability and are skilled at engaging colleagues in the co-design and implementation of new policies, programs practices and ways of working.**
- **You bring a coaching mindset to your work and have a track record of empowering leaders to create physically and psychologically healthy and safe work environments.**
- **You will bring a commitment to your own personal and professional development and curiosity around how we might do things differently.**
- **WHS qualifications, experience in the adult social care sectors and experience in distributed operating environments will be well regarded but are not essential.**

**Must have requirements**:

- **Current Western Australian Driver’s Licence**
- **Own vehicle**
- **Proof of eligibility to work in Australia**
- **NDIS Workers Screening Check**
- **Willingness to spend time with Chorus customers and teams to build context**
