**Risk and Compliance Manager**

Downer is a leading provider of integrated facilities services with clients across Australia and New Zealand. The Health and Education (H&E) line of business provides comprehensive operational and maintenance services as well as lifecycle maintenance programs to various sites within primary/ secondary/ tertiary education and hospital facilities throughout Australia. The contracts are a combination of education and health public private partnerships (PPP) and non-PPP health contracts.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a **Risk and Compliance Manager** to join our friendly and collaborative team. This role will be based on-site Monday to Friday.

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Facilities Director your role will be responsible for, although not limited to:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Development of performance monitoring process to ensure contract compliance.
- Maintenance of Operating Term Documentation.
- Liaison with the project team including design consultants, the builder and key project stakeholders to develop operational procedures.
- Effective communications with stakeholders, including the client, contractors and hospital teams.
- Reporting and tracking of progress to ensure obligations are met.

**Key Experience & Capabilities**:

- Experience working in Public Private Partnership Environment (PPP) will be highly regarded.
- You will demonstrate the ability to work in complex contracts, and above all you will have the ability to manage a busy work schedule and have highly developed problem-solving skills.
- A great communicator - stakeholders will call you ‘firm but fair’.
- Someone who can anticipate - you’ll get to know your site and equipment intimately and this will help you anticipate and manage issues before they become problems.
- Well organized - you will approach your work methodically, and you will be able to report on the progress of any job quickly and efficiently. Prioritisation will be easy for you.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerBI, and capacity to learn new technologies.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Recognised qualification in Risk Management, Quality Assurance or a similar related field.
- Internal auditor qualification is highly regarded.
- Proven experience in managing performance and compliance in a complex facility management contract.
- Advanced experience in analysis, managing data, and risk and quality management.
- Demonstrated analytical and project experience within a collaborative working environment, monitoring the required outcomes against a performance-based framework.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing risk interventions.
- Good knowledge of Information Technology systems.
