***With a legacy of over 145 years of achievement, Tintern Grammar is one of Melbourne’s most respected schools, with students from our Early Learning Centre to Year 12. We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager in a permanent full-time or part time role. This position is located in Ringwood East.

This newly created role will report to the Principal and be a key member of the Operational Risk Committee. The role is responsible for the day to day compliance responsibilities of the School and will deliver industry best practice, to maintain risk management and compliance-based frameworks.

We are seeking a professional manager who will deliver to the highest quality in a timely manner.

In this position you will be a compliance risk expert, as well as embed a risk management culture across the school. This is an autonomous role with a significant opportunity to add value to the role and the School.
- Experience in risk and compliance reporting and analysis
- Knowledge and expertise in compliance with statutory law and regulations
- Proven management experience from a similar background.
- A tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Business, or business management and extensive knowledge and experience within a Risk and Compliance environment.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong & evident leadership skills, including effective relationship management.
- Innate ability to identify and analyse opportunities for continuous improvement.
- An enthusiastic, passionate, objective approach to the role.
- Strong ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
