We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Risk and Compliance Manager in a permanent full-time role. This position is located in Ringwood East.

This role will report to the Assistant Principal and be a key member of the OHS and Operational Risk Committee. The role is responsible for the day-to-day compliance responsibilities of the School and will deliver industry best practice, to maintain OHS, risk management and compliance-based frameworks.

We are seeking a professional manager who will deliver to the highest quality in a timely manner. In this position, you will be an OHS, compliance risk expert, as well as embed a strong OHS and risk management culture across the School. This is an autonomous role with a significant opportunity to add value to the role and the School.
- Worked at a management level with key stakeholders delivering best practice.
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience within an OHS, Risk and Compliance environment.
- Experience in OHS, risk and compliance reporting, and analysis with integrated software.
- Experience in development and implementation of appropriate OHS, Risk, Compliance and Policy reporting frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in compliance, statutory law and regulations.
- Strong writing skills and experience preparing papers for Boards and relevant Committees.
- Strong and evident leadership skills, including effective relationship management.
- Innate ability to identify and analyse opportunities for continuous improvement.
- An enthusiastic, passionate, objective approach to the role.
- Strong ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Risk Management, OHS, Business, or equivalent business management experience within a Risk and Compliance environment.
- Education and training experience within a school environment would be highly regarded.
