**About the Role**:
The Assistant Fleet Allocator & Customer Service Support role provides integral administrative and operational support to the Customer Service department and Lead Fleet Allocator. The role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day functions which contribute to the overall efficiency and customer service levels at the Brisbane Depot. The position requires exceptional communication and problem solving skills that build relationships, teamwork and a commitment to achieving success through our operational KPI’s.

Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm.

Reporting to the Lead Fleet Allocator and Site Operations Manager, you will demonstrate the ability to:

- Assist with customer service functions.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, answering inbound calls, manifesting, responding to customer queries in a timely manner, manage timeslot bookings and more.
- Complete daily FLID and KPI reporting for local PUD fleet.
- Maintain excellent standards of communication with customers at all times.
- Ensure organisational service standards are maintained at all times.
- Participate in the planning and allocating of company and sub-contractor fleet and drivers.
- Effectively communicate timeslot, express and urgent PUD requirements.
- Provide coverage for the Lead Fleet Allocator position in the event of absence; change of hours required when covering lead fleet allocator (5am start).
- Participate in continuous improvement processes to increase DIFOT and the overall optimisation of loads and runs.
- Maintain communication levels with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in monitoring driver and vehicle wait times onsite, ensuring they do not exceed the allowable limits.
- Utilise GPS system to enhance knowledge of driver locations.
- Monitor company and sub-contractor equipment to ensure they are maintained in line with safety and compliance requirements and restrictions.
- Has a passion and commitment to high performance and success.

- Demonstrated understanding of the transport and logistics industry.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Ability to carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instruction.
- Friendly, approachable and positive team player.
