With a network of offices in 60 countries and over 6,000 employees across the five continents, the company manages air, sea, and land transport services all over the globe.  Based near Blacktown in our brand-new luxurious offices, our team is currently looking for a Senior Transport Allocator.  This is a full time permanent role (on site).  The hours are: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

In this key role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport operations, ensuring service excellence, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Duties include:

Your New Role

  • Pre-plan transport routes and schedules to meet client requirements
  • Allocate jobs to company fleet and approved subcontractors
  • Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries across FCL, LCL, and airfreight
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries with professional service
  • Monitor and manage the return of empty containers
  • Maintain up-to-date client contact and delivery information
  • Communicate with internal teams to resolve delivery issues and delays
  • Oversee DAWR (AQIS) and 77G container processes, including fumigation compliance
  • Validate transport invoices and carrier charges before payment approval
  • Stay current with customs and quarantine regulations
  • Manage company fleet efficiency and scheduling
  • Identify and implement cost-saving transport solutions
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through reliable and responsive service
  • Manage company vehicles (3 company vans), including maintenance schedules and servicing coordination
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in international freight forwarding or transport allocation
  • Familiarity with port logistics, container transport, and AQIS/DAWR requirements
  • Previous use of EDI/CargoWise (Port Transport Module) preferred
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative team player
  • Experience managing fleet performance is an advantage
