We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join us on our friendly, fast paced, and dynamic office based at Regency Park, South Australia.

As the Fleet Controller, you will resource allocations to ensure delivery of a Safe, reliable, and sustainable service to our customers. You will oversee the daily deliveries, optimise fleet utilisation while ensuring our customers’ and our customers’ customers service level (DIFOT) requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities- Compile loads to ensure most efficient use of drivers and equipment- Organise vehicles to cover all orders and requests- Ensure that all vehicles comply with customer and freight requirements- Internal and external customer liaison and advice- Preparation and analysis of internal and external contractors run sheets and delivery advice for the purpose of performance management- Response and management of incidents relating to driver operations. This may include initial incident reports and subsequent investigation- Supervision of drivers to monitor and enforce general compliance with State and Federal Laws- Participate in and contribute to operational toolbox meetings and OHS meetings- Active management of critical incidents impacting performance and attainment of key divisional KPI’s including but not limited to DIFOT- Provide prompt and effective response to all customer enquiries and concerns- Facilitate timely and accurate reports as required- Investigate and take corrective action where incidents occur that pose a potential risk to the reputation of Team Global Express and or achievement of set KPI’s relating to delivery performance.- Professional communication to key stakeholders including both written and verbal means

**Qualifications**:
- Allocation fleet control experience essential- It is essential that you have experience in either Transport and/or Distribution & Logistics, both would be highly desirable.- Ability to manage capacity vehicle utilisation- Knowledge of multi-purpose fleet including prime movers, body trucks and specialist equipment-
- Proficient computer skills, including excel- Experience supervising or managing a team of people- Safety focused and minded- Problem solving abilities
