The role Responsible for leading and managing a high performing team in the design and delivery of inclusion, equity and diversity strategies, policies and initiatives across the department.
The Team Leader plays a key role in providing high level leadership and strategic advice to the department to drive greater workforce diversity and inclusion across the organisation. This role is relied upon to support the department, Hospital and Health Services (HHS) and the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to meet their diversity and inclusion objectives and obligations, and build capability across the organisation.

**The successful personYou will have demonstrated**:

- competence in leading the delivery, design and implementation of a range of diversity and inclusion strategies, programs and initiatives.
- proven knowledge and understanding of current policies and frameworks relevant to inclusion and diversity.
- experience in the preparation and presentation of strategic advice to senior and executive stakeholders.
- research, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative, simple and effective solutions to identified issues.
- proven team leadership and successful management of competing issues and priorities.
- proven high level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including negotiation and consultation skills, with clients and stakeholders.
