**Description**

**About the role**:
The core duties of this role are to provide assistance to technical staff in the delivery of project reports and proposal submissions as well as administrative functions with Transport Planning and Advisory. This role supports client project teams to administer projects efficiently allowing a profitable outcome, quality assurance adherence, project progress, program reporting and risk management. Tailor personal approach to suit the requirements of external clients, team leaders/project engineers and project managers alike.

We’re looking for an Coordinator with strong project report and deliverable experience to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a skilled team of engineers and other staff to produce high quality proposals / fee estimates, and other business development materials, and client deliverable in a timely and efficient manner.

This role will consist of 50% project report quality review submissions, 20% proposal support assistance and 30% with other proactive administrative activities to support the Business Center Operations Leader (BCOL), Business Leader and Market Leaders within the Transport Planning and Advisory Business Centre.

Given the role will be working with our internal team leaders at Stantec, there is an expectation for this person to be in the office at least 4 days per week initially.

**Day to day tasks would involve but not limited to**:

- Coordinate & prepare submissions and fee proposals in conjunction with the leaders and provide assistance to specialist teams (transport / pursuits teams) as required.
- Ensure the quality, layout and formatting of all documentation is consistent with Stantec’s brand and make all necessary effort to minimise spelling and grammatical errors.
- Assist with managing conformance to the quality assurance requirements.
- Support the team in the continual improvement of Stantec quality procedures and standards and proactive implementation of the same.
- Follow up all contributors to reports, proposals and submissions to ensure timely delivery of these documents.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and proactively engage with other Project and Technical administration staff in your office and in other offices.
- Collaborate with other Project/Technical Administration staff in relation to technical issues, resource sharing and project issues.
- Build strong relationships with team leaders, managers and other key staff, working together to build the Stantec business.
- Create, develop and maintain materials and supporting information.
- Maintain appropriate network within the company to facilitate identification and sharing of relevant information, best practices.
- Lead, promote and contribute to a sense of community fun and team spirit with the team.
- Administrative tasks as directed by the Business Leader in the Business Centre

**To be successful for this role you'll need**:

- Tertiary education in similar sector or an equivalent combination of education & related experience.
- Ideally have experience in an engineering consultancy, construction, or design sector background
- Be accountable and drive quality by updating system and adhering to Stantec’s style guide.
- Manage own workflow/outputs, within business priorities.
- Always looking to be adding value to a specific opportunity, business centre operation.
- Have strong MS Office Skills, proficient in Word, PowerPoint.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and good attention to detail.
