For our Corporate Office located at Sydney International Airport we are looking for a Human Resources Manager. As the Human Resources Manager, you will work to strengthen Heinemann Australia’s position in the market and establish Heinemann Australia as a Great Place to Work by pro-actively partnering with our Leaders in the business and developing our employees and their competences. You will develop, guide and execute Human Resources initiatives and in turn communicate our unique point of difference in the market; attracting, engaging, developing and retaining our talent.A key leadership role within the Human Resource (HR) function, the Human Resources Manager leads, coaches and develops Heinemann’s HR operational team, which includes HR Business Partnering, HR Officers and HR Administration, with a key relationship with the Payroll Manager, Recruitment and Workforce Planner. Working closely with the Head of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager will contribute to embedding of the HR strategy; anticipating operational HR requirements, and proactively resolving people challenges with a strategic mindset.**Human Resources Manager**

Your new job includes
- HR Partnering agility, which includes data analytics skills and predicting trends from available data sources
- Provide ongoing coaching, support and influence to HR team members and business leaders
- Advocate for and support culture and business operational change through structured change management initiatives
- Establish and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation. Conducts periodic surveys to measure employee satisfaction and employee engagement
- Support local culture and engagement action plans
- Compliance Lead for all HR related matters, with authority to internally audit and collaborate with key compliance areas of workforce management; payroll, employee relations partnering and workforce planning
- Monthly HR, Payroll and Workforce Planning compliance audits, ensuring to alert areas of risk to Head of Human Resources

What you should bring along
- Minimum bachelor level of education, with a major in Human Resources Management or Business Management
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Human Resources field across all HR functions including previous experience in Australian employment legislation
- Previous General HR Management experience including managing a team
- Proven stakeholder management capability and relationship building skills.
- Solid understanding and experience in Australian employment legislation trends and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, highly organised and proven success working in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in developing, reviewing and implementing Human Resources strategies, frameworks, policies and procedures to meet strategic and operational objectives
