**Human Resources Manager**
The Human Resources Manager, in collaboration with the Senior Management Team, will develop and implement HR initiatives that are aligned with the organisation’s purpose, business strategy, and commercial imperatives. Key focus areas include management of the employee lifecycle including their talent pipeline, employee retention, and wellbeing.
The role will have primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with all relevant industrial relations legislation and awards with significant inputs to ensure compliance with WHS and privacy laws.
**Responsibilities of the role**:
- Ensure compliance with all employment, industrial relations, and WHS legislation and relevant awards.
- Workforce planning model - including position description development; recruitment and selection; orientation and onboarding; retirement; redundancy and exit interviews.
- Proactively assist the relevant managers and/or team leaders in the selection of new staff
- Development, implementation and review of performance management and disciplinary policies and work procedures
- Provide HR support and guidance to managers throughout the employee lifecycle
- Managing any employee grievances and resolving any issues appropriately
- Maintaining and progressing the Employment Hero HRIS
**About you**:
- Knowledge of all key employment, FairWork, WHS, and privacy legislation
- Proven experience in a senior HR role
- Experience in dealing with industrial relations issues
- Knowledge of employment in the Legal sector is desirable
- Experience creating, implementing, and monitoring employee training plans
- High-level dispute resolution skills
- Strong administration and IT skills
