**The role on offer**:
Reporting to the Content Director, the purpose of the Executive Producer is to develop and execute the Content strategy to produce a winning show in the style and essence as directed by the CD.
This role will work closely with on air talent, sourcing interviews and show content and assisting with new idea generation and developing new structures.
The Executive Producer will ensure all on-air content meets relevant risk assessment guidelines and on-air codes before going live.
**The skills and experience you will need**:
- The ability to have an understanding of a target audience, what makes them tick and what makes them react.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage on-air talent to achieve goals of station
- Self-motivated and able to work with Product Team and CD
- An understanding of legal compliance issues with regards to contests including the assessment of risk around legal and PR outcomes
- Is able to demonstrate a passionate commitment to the Southern Cross Austereo brand and values
- Is able to create an environment which encourages innovation and creativity
