**PURCHASING OFFICER**
- Reporting to Supply Chain Manager, this position is a support role, responsible for assisting Mercy Aged Care homes and Seniors Living with their day to day Purchasing requirements. This position will act as the first point of contact for Procurement, Contracts and Supply Chain team to support the Homes with their requirements.
- Essential Criteria;
- Excellent customer service skills with can do attitude to play your part in Mercy Health providing the best possible care to our residents
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Experience with a computerized purchasing system (Technology One preferred) and Microsoft Office tools
- Attention to detail and have the ability to focus on the competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment
- Previous experience in a similar role in Healthcare (Aged care preferred)
- Proven time management and problem solving skills with the mindset to think outside the box
- Ability to train fellow staff members in Purchasing System and process to align with Mercy Health policies
