Overview

We’re inviting applications to join our permanent workforce in RAAF Richmond as an Asset Data Officer. Commencing January 2026, we’re looking for people from all backgrounds – whether you bring Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. What You’ll Do

- Managing, validating, and updating asset register data in accordance with Defence requirements.
- Ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and synchronisation of asset data with Defence systems (e.g., GEMS).
- Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to verify and integrate asset data for estate works, maintenance, and project delivery.
- Providing asset data advice and support to project teams and subcontractors.
- Supporting continuous improvement in asset data management processes and tools.

What You’ll Bring

- Certificate III/IV in Business or Data Management.
- Asset Management System Training Certification (desirable).
- Qualifications or experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Financial Data Management.
- White Card and site access credentials (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in asset data maintenance, administration, or database management.
