**Your new role**
The Team Leader and Regional Coordinator ensures a high standard of service delivery to Library Services customers within the library branch and region through effective leadership.

You will be the team lead and manage the Toowong library branch by providing support to the team members in the branch to enable the development of a highly motivated and skilled team. Some of your responsibilities in this role will include ownership of the libraries rostering system, capability building, supporting with the management of the business and leading and coordinating monthly meetings for all library team leaders in the area. This will require you to travel regionally or to the city.

You must be available to work standard business hours of 36.25 hours per week which could be rostered from Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturday shifts in line with the library opening and closing times, which may include some late evenings.

Additionally, you will be required to work some Sunday shifts which may be at an alternative branch location and in addition to your base hours.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- A good understanding of the role of modern, successful libraries, with experience in managing and delivering high volume library services
- a passion for leading, managing and developing people
- well-developed project, financial and operational management skills developed within a complex library environment; and
- well developed interpersonal and communication skills to be able to liaise, consult and present to a wide group of stakeholders including residents, customers and community groups.

Please note, this role will require a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), Criminal History Check and a pre-placement medical assessment.
