Giglio’s Fresh Chickens is a Poultry Abattoir located in Bonnyrigg, NSW. We are seeking a **Process Assistant Supervisor** to join our team at our Chicken Processing Plant.

The position is hands on with a **4am START**. You will be assisting the Production Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the abattoir.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**:

- Processing & inspecting raw chicken meat
- Ensure daily reporting is accurately completed and recorded as required
- Manual handling duties where required
- Train employees; provide consistent feedback concerning strengths and areas in need of improvement
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Fork Lift License / MR License

**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:

- Minimum one (1) years’ experience within a factory environment
- Demonstrated one (1) years’ leadership experience
- Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
- Working knowledge of food safety regulations
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written, with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment

**SAFETY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Follow and ensure others follow company safety policies and programs
- Wear required protective equipment in all areas where mandatory

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to be exposed to moving production
- Exposed to Cool / Freezer Rooms
- Work around live and/or raw Chicken
- Physically fit and repetitively lift 5kg-15kg

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- MR Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
